Ok ^^ before I start I'd like to make sure you know that is is my own opinion and others may not see the design the same way I do, so do not take it to be what everyone will think <3
Ok ^^ for starters, I do not think these colours work well together. Black and yellow are a great colour combo, however if you are going to use a grey and yellow the grey needs to be far darker that it is here. This is because with this lighter grey the yellow fading into the grey looks very murky, unclean and sort of green. If you want to make a yellow work with a grey, you need to either darken the grey or lighten the shade of yellow, so the contrast lessens, contrast can be used to ones advantage, but it is very hard to make this kind of contrast work. One way you can fix this is by adding what I call a "colour bridge" that binds the two main colours together so contrast is lessend - for example, look at this design I just made [link] - The grey is almost black so the murky colour merge is very much negated, I have also used a colour bridge of white to lower the contrast of the bright yellow, however the contrast between the yellow and white with the black still exists.
Hope it helped, if you have any questions or would like me to crit. any other designs then don't hesitate to ask <3
